1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Zenlo ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Zenlo website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing the Service, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICE AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
2. Service Description
Zenlo is a product scanning and ingredient analysis application. The Service allows users to scan product barcodes, view ingredient information, and receive AI-generated safety assessments. The Service is intended for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical, nutritional, or professional advice.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Service is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Service (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. The Content and the Marks are provided on the Service "AS IS" for your information and personal use only.
4. User Representations
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
- You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update it as necessary.
- You have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms.
- You are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside, or if a minor, you have received parental permission to use the Service.
- You will not access the Service through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script, or otherwise.
- You will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Cancellations
Free Plan: The Service offers a free tier with unlimited scans and all core features. No payment is required for the free plan.
Premium Subscription: The Premium plan is offered at $29 per year (lead offer) or $4.99 per month and includes depth features such as full breakdown sheets, sharing product reports, and search without scanning. Billing is handled on the web through Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day Premium trial at no charge. At the end of the trial period, your account automatically moves to the Free plan (unlimited scans) unless you subscribe to a paid Premium plan.
Auto-Renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (annual or monthly) unless you cancel. Charges are processed through Lemon Squeezy.
Cancellation: You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your Zenlo account settings (Settings → Cancel subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. You will continue to have access to Premium features until that date.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. Refund requests are subject to Lemon Squeezy's policies; contact us at support@zenlo.app for assistance.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the Service for any purpose other than that for which we make the Service available. Explicitly prohibited activities include:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the application
- Sharing your account credentials with others
- Copying, scraping, or redistributing ingredient analysis data
- Using the Service to create a competing product
- Attempting to bypass subscription restrictions or premium feature gates
- Harassing other users or our support staff
- Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise our systems
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE.
Not Medical Advice: The ingredient analysis, safety scores, and recommendations provided by Zenlo are for informational purposes only. They are not intended to be, and should not be construed as, medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals before making decisions about your health or diet.
No Guarantee of Accuracy: Despite our best efforts to provide accurate information, our ingredient analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We do not guarantee that safety scores or ingredient assessments are accurate, complete, or correct. Regulatory information may vary by region and change over time.
Individual Sensitivities: Safety scores are general assessments and do not account for individual allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or interactions with medications. You are responsible for verifying ingredient information and consulting appropriate professionals for your specific situation.
8. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective officers, agents, partners, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Israel. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
